The most important thing about music is not found in the notes.
Gustav Mahler

The Wind and Percussion Institute at Carroll University is a comprehensive program of music education and performance experience for the serious college student studying for a professional music career or in other fields; for the highly motivated high school player; for the community adult player; and for the accomplished professional musician. The Wind Institute is committed to the performance of the highest quality examples of music literature from the Renaissance through the 21st century. Ensembles range from brass and woodwind quintets and octets, through one-on-a-part wind ensembles to full symphonic bands.
