About the Ensemble
The Youth Wind Orchestra of Wisconsin had its debut set of concerts in the 2003-04 season. Created to complement and support high school bands throughout the southeast Wisconsin area, the Youth Wind Orchestra is a 45-piece wind ensemble that rehearses one evening per week during the regular school year. The Youth Wind Orchestra consists of highly motivated, talented high school students selected by audition for membership.
