Carroll College has several giving societies to recognize those who have made significant investments in Carroll University. Through leadership in giving and their interest in Carroll's success, members of these societies sustain the philanthropic example provided by Carroll's founders. These society members share a common bond and a commitment to providing an exceptional education to Carroll students.

The John Adams Savage Society recognizes individuals who wish to continue the legacy of learning at Carroll that President Savage, the first president, started more than 150 years ago. 

Requirements for membership in the John Adams Savage Society can be met in one of two ways:

  • Naming Carroll as a beneficiary in your will or living trust, regardless of amount,

or

  • Establishing a planned gift of any type in any amount. Gift types include, but are not limited to, annuities, charitable remainder trusts, pooled income funds, and life insurance.

The benefits of membership are:

  • John Adams Savage Society membership certificate
  • Inclusion in the Honor Roll of Donors and Carroll University report to donors
  • Invitation to Carroll University events
  • Providing for Carroll's future
